Palisades Parkway Paving Starts Monday

Lane and exit ramp closures are expected on the Palisades Interstate Parkway northbound and southbound for the next 12 days. The work will be done on weeknights from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.

The affected stretch of the parkway is between Exit 4 (Route 9W) and Exit 11 (New Hempstead Road). Crews will be paving, weather permitting.

Expect delays and seek alternate routes where possible.

Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
