Pearl River Man Faces Charges after Domestic Dispute
Orangetown police allege he smashed a cell phone and stole a tablet.

Orangetown Police arrested Thomas J. O’Grady, 25, of Pearl River, NY Sept. 15.
He was charged with Grand Larceny 4th degree (a felony), and the misdemeanors of Criminal Mischief 4th and Criminal possession of stolen property 5th.
A woman reported that she was involved in a domestic dispute with O’Grady and was attempting to call police for help on her cellphone when he grabbed the phone and threw it against a wall rendering it inoperable.

Police allege that he then stole a Samsung tablet belonging to the woman and fled her apartment. He was arraigned in Orangetown Court and sent to the Rockland County Jail.
