Pedestrian Badly Injured By Car In Nyack

Orangetown police are investigating.

NYACK, NY — An SUV hit a pedestrian at 6:06 a.m. Wednesday in Nyack. The victim suffered a serious injury, Orangetown police said.

It happened on Route 9W. A Ringwood, New Jersey man, Thomas Budai, was driving a Chevy Suburban, police said.

The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, police said.
