
SPARKILL, NY — A Piermont resident faces charges related to driving drunk. Orangetown police called to a motor vehicle accident at 8:06 p.m. Tuesday said they found Anthony Gilliam standing next to his 2005 Toyota Tundra in the parking lot of the Chase Bank in Sparkill.
He failed sobriety tests, police said. They concluded Gilliam, 56, was intoxicated. They found two open bottles of vodka in the pickup.
A breathalyzer test registered more than .18 percent blood alcohol level.

He was charged with aggravated DWI and consumption of alcoholic beverages in a vehicle. He was released into the care of a family member.
