Pile Driving Resumes With Noise Testing Today
The noise levels have continued to be a problem for South Nyack residents.

Construction of Pier 1 located near River Road in South Nyack is continuing with the installation of sheet piles. The sheet piles support the surrounding soil while the foundation for the new bridge pier is constructed.
Noise, however, continues to be a problem. So tests of various mitigation measures will be made, according to South Nyack village officials.

Please be aware that TZ Constructors will resume pile driving this morning at 9:30 a.m In an effort to better mitigate the noise levels, the TZ Constructors Environmental team will be performing some trial and error testing to record the sound levels. Please be patient during this process.
