Update: Planned Hudson River Flyover Rescheduled by Navy
The event was scheduled to occur today, Sept. 15
Updated: The F-18 flyover that was reportedly canceled Tuesday was rescheduled to take place at the original time.
The Journal News reports that the flyover, which was part of a training exercise, was scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
The fighter jets, part of Strike Fighter Squadron 105, are stationed at Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Original story: The United States Navy has canceled a scheduled Tuesday Hudson River flyover, reports The Journal News.
The event was scheduled for 12:30 p.m., when two F-18 fighter jets were scheduled to fly from the Verrazanno Bridge to Tappan Zee Bridge along the river.
