Police Investigate Bar Stabbing Report

The victim said he went to a woman's defense and was jumped by three guys.

NYACK, NY — Orangetown police detectives are investigating a stabbing that allegedly occurred at a bar in Nyack. The scene was O'Malley's Restaurant on Main Street at 3:15 a.m. Aug. 10, police said.

A man suffered three puncture wounds and was treated at Good Samaritan Hospital, police said. He told police he was at the bar when an unknown man hit a woman. He said he came to the woman's defense and was then jumped by at least three guys.

He was able to get away and went home. When he got there, he realized he had been stabbed and went to the hospital.
