It took place at about 12:05 p.m. at the intersection of North Broadway and Main Street. A woman was hit by a 2004 Ford F-250 driven by a 24-year-old man from Fairfield, Connecticut, Edvin Lopez. She's in the hospital with serious injuries, police said. Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to call Orangetown police at 845-359-3700.
