Hello wifflers of ALL SKILLS AND AGE, just a reminder that there's still time to join Palisades WBL's second annual Slow Pitch Tournament on Sunday. Here's the skinny:
Where/When:
Sunday July 7th at 9:30AM. Cottage Lane Elementary School, 120 Cottage Lane, Blauvelt, NY 10913.

All teams are guaranteed three five-inning games, Top six teams will advance to playoffs, with top two getting a first round bye.
Seeding will be determined by record, runs scored, runs allowed.
Why:
The HVHS pursues its mission of promoting its core: the cause of animal welfare. In addition to sheltering abandoned and unwanted animals, HVHS actively seeks adoptive homes for these animals.
Rules and Cost:
Identical to Palisades WBL with the exceptions of;
The infield line is eliminated, you can hit the backstop from anywhere on the field for an out.
We will provide balls but you will have to get your own bat. (We will provide a few bats just in case.) No Moonshots, GTSOH or any other modified bats.
Mound will be approximately 40 feet from the zone, fences will be closer, about 80 feet down the line. 40 MPH speed limit.
$100 Per team. Individual players $25, first come first serve. Cash only.
Teams may have no less than three (3) but no more than four (4) players. Teams may not have more than TWO (2) 2013 PALISADES WBL players per team.
