Rockland Camerata Holiday Concert
Saturday December 6 at 4:00 the Camerata will present the Christmas portion of Handel's The Messiah at the Clarkstown Reformed Church
The Rockland Camerata, under the direction of Matthew Rupcich, is an ensemble of 36 mixed voices that has provided audiences with a luscious variety of sacred and secular music since 1978.
Soloists for this program are Lauren Ishida, soprano; Vira Slywotsky, mezzo; David Gordon, tenor; George Heath, bass, accompanied by chamber orchestra: Marti Sweet and Rachel Crozier, violins; Elizabeth Nilsen, viola; Stephen Reid, cello and William Blossom, bass.
Clarkstown Reformed Church is located at 107 Strawtown Road, West Nyack. A reception will follow. Tickets are $20, $15 seniors and $10 students.
