Rockland Jails West Milford, NJ Man Over Gun, Crystal Meth
The sheriff's office said they found more than 2 ounces of methamphetamine and a loaded gun when they stopped the 22-year-old on Route 202.
ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — A New Jersey man accused of possessing a gun and a sizeable quantity of crystal meth is in the Rockland County jail awaiting a court appearance Tuesday.
Ethan Iglesias was stopped on Route 202 in Haverstraw at 3:45 a.m. Thursday for a motor vehicle violation, said County Sheriff Louis Falco.
Police said they found more than two ounces of methamphetamine and a loaded 9mm gun in the possession of the 22-year-old West Milford resident.

Under New York State law, possession of 2 ounces or more of methamphetamine or a mixture containing methamphetamine is classified as second-degree criminal possession, which is a class A felony.
Iglesias was arrested, processed, and sent to the Rockland County Correctional Facility after being arraigned in Haverstraw town court.
