Schoolgirl Luring incident in Nyack
The girl called her mom on her cell phone after the man in the car asked if she wanted a ride to school.
NYACK, NY — Orangetown police are investigating after a girl on her way to school Tuesday reported being honked at by a man in a blue car who asked her in Spanish if she wanted a ride to school. She told police the driver had gone by and honked his horn at her in the past couple of weeks.
This was in the area of Depew Avenue and Anna Street at 7:50 a.m.
Orangetown police are working with South Nyack Grandview police on the investigation.
