South Nyack Holding 'Pop-Up Park' Event On Labor Day
Residents are invited to a town-owned property that's been closed to the public for a long time.
SOUTH NYACK, NY — Village officials will host a one-day 'Pop Up Park' event for village residents on Labor Day. The event will be held at the Towt Recreation Area.
Towt Recreation Area is one of two riverfront properties owned by the village, Mayor Bonnie Christian said in an email to residents. "The space has not been developed and has been closed to the public for several decades. A portion of the land has been cleared so that we could temporarily transform this area into a fun and funky space featuring inflatable loungers, picnic tables and reclaimed wood seating."
Residents are invited to bring a picnic, check out the park and enjoy its amazing river views.
