Spring Bus Trip to Innisfree and Wethersfield Gardens

Innisfree and Wethersfield Gardens from 8:30am – 6pm

Our first stop will be a guided tour of Innisfree Garden which is recognized as one of the “world’s ten best gardens”. The garden’s sweeping landscape merges the essence of Modernist and Romantic ideas with traditional Chinese and Japanese garden design principles - a sublime composition of rock, water, wood and sky achieved with remarkable economy and grace.

Lunch at Aurelia Restaurant where they create savory dishes influenced by Mediterranean cuisine is included.

In the afternoon, we’ll have a guided tour of Wethersfield House and Gardens are situated at the highest point in the region which provides panoramic views of the Catskills and the Berkshires.

Wear comfortable shoes for walking, a hat and sunscreen. You may also want to bring an umbrella or raincoat – you never know if a shower will occur.
Cost: $89 for Nyack School District residents
$99 for Out-of-District
Registration required.
Payment in cash or checks made out to Valley Cottage Library.
