St. Thomas Aquinas College Announces New Director of Development

Linda LoRe Appointed New Director of Development

(Sparkill, NY— August 10, 2017)— Ms. Linda LoRe was recently appointed as the director of development at St. Thomas Aquinas College, announced Karen Wright, vice president for institutional advancement.

LoRe, of Pearl River, NY, joined St. Thomas Aquinas College in 2001 and has held several positions. Most recently, she served as director of foundation and community relations in the office of institutional advancement, where she expanded and enhanced corporate, foundation and government agency relationships to help support the mission and goals of the College. She was instrumental in securing grants from The Suez Foundation and Orange and Rockland Utilities Inc. to fund summer STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) camps at the College. She was also responsible for the coordination and management of the Aquinas Medal Dinner, the College’s annual black tie gala, and the annual golf tournament’s silent auction.

“Ms. LoRe has gained extensive experience in the field of institutional advancement which will surely make a positive impact on the College’s major gifts,” said Wright. “In her role as director of development, Ms. LoRe is responsible for the planning, organizing and directing of the College’s major gifts program, planned giving and special events,” added Wright

LoRe earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Iona College (NY) and an MBA in Management (with distinction) from St. Thomas Aquinas College. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Council on the Advancement and Support of Education.
