STAC Announces New Graduate Program: MPA in Criminal Justice Administration

ST. THOMAS AQUINAS COLLEGE ANNOUNCES NEW GRADUATE PROGRAM: MPA IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE ADMINISTRATION

St. Thomas Aquinas College is proud to announce a new graduate degree program: The Masters of Public Administration in Criminal Justice Administration (MPA-CJ). This program is designed to prepare students for careers in public administration, whether they are progressing in their current organization, changing careers, launching a second-career, or starting out after earning an undergraduate degree.

A 39-credit graduate degree program, the MPA-CJ degree can be completed in a timely manner, and all courses are offered at night, on weekends, or online, allowing for maximum flexibility when choosing classes. According to Provost Robert Murray, “There is a need in the lower Hudson Valley for an MPA program with a focus on Criminal Justice. Our region is home to a large number of law enforcement professionals, and St. Thomas Aquinas College is proud to be able to offer them a convenient pathway to create new career opportunities.”

The academic program for the MPA-CJ builds on the established strengths of two of the College’s best programs, Criminal Justice and the MBA program in the School of Business. Students take classes from acclaimed faculty in both areas; in this way, the curriculum provides a foundation in principles of administration as well as in criminal justice applications.
