Tenure, Budget, Student Records on Nyack School Board's May 6 Agenda

The Nyack Board of Education meets May 6 in the Nyack High School Auditorium.

An executive session starts at 6:30 p.m.. The trustees plan to reconvene into public session at 7:30 p.m. and hold a short recess at about 8:45 p.m. to honor the staffers who will be granted tenure at the meeting. 

Here are some of the agenda highlights:

• 20 staffers will receive tenure
• Public hearing on the $77.3 million spending proposal for 2014-15
• Revision of district policy on student records
