At about 5:53 a.m., July 27, State Police stopped on I-87 to render aid to a possible disabled vehicle.
Police said they found driver, Kevin D. Savage, 22 of Bedminster, NJ was intoxicated.
Savage was transported and processed at state police HQ in Tarrytown, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.11 percent. Savage was charged with:

Savage was turned over to a sober third party and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Village of South Nyack Court on Aug. 10.
