
The warmth of the late Summer sun I yet feel
Whispers of the changing season this day to reveal
Touches of crimson upon dogwood leaves
Held by this day's caressing breeze
A calm resolve, Summer's bloom hushed in fulfillment array
Trees, brush, fields of green, readied for the Fall parlay.
