Come fall, Rocklanders will have a new way to stay fit—and spend a fun Saturday.
Bounce Trampoline Sports—a 25,000-square-foot complex—is set to open its doors in Valley Cottage in a few months. The facility will feature wall-to-wall trampolines, a sprawling foam jump pit, an arcade and more. The trampoline park is being partially-helmed by Michael Gross of Tappan and boasts something similar businesses do not—a healthy mission. Food and drink choices will eschew junk and aim for healthier choices.
Though trampoline parks are not a new idea, this will be one of the first in the area.

"Trampoline Parks are growing steadily in popularity; the trend started out West and is now moving East with parks in Florida and now the one in Rockland County," explained Risa Hoag, who is tackling Bounce's marketing. "The owners of Bounce expect to open a total of five in the area over the next several years. Right now there are approximately 50 trampoline parks in about a dozen states, but none in NY yet."
"What makes these courts unique is the ability to not only bounce off the floors but off the walls, as well," Danny Fried, who is working alongside Gross to open the park. "Jumping on a trampoline is a fun, healthy and invigorating workout; you can burn a thousand calories in an hour. What's more, trampoline is now an official Olympic sport, drawing more and more fans every day."

The business will also bring dozens of jobs to the area; the park is currently reaching out in hopes of finding qualified gymnasts.
