Treated at Nyack Hospital, Accused of Heroin Possession

Justin Johnson, 41, of Nyack, faces charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, both misdemeanors.

Orangetown police said Johnson was arrested March 29 at Nyack Hospital. Hospital staff and police allege he was in possession of a quantity of heroin and hypodermic needles.

He was released at the scene, as he was receiving medical care, police said. He is due in Nyack Justice Court April 28.
