William H. Clarke Dec 2, 1927 — Nov 8, 2014. Bill was born in the Bronx, NY to Rose and William E. Clarke. He is predeceased by his wife of 53 yrs. Margaret (Gallagher) Clarke and is survived by four children. William P. Clarke of Vernon, CT; Ann Marie Clarke of Nyack, NY; Katherine Clarke of Highland Mills, NY and Thomas Clarke of Annandale, NJ. He was a loving grandfather to 3 granddaughters and 2 grandsons.Bill was a proud graduate of Regis HS and upon his return from serving in Korea he earned his Bachelor's degree from Fordham University. He then embarked on a career in the aviation industry working for Pan Am, American Airlines and finally retiring as Director of Tariffs from TWA in 1986. He loved travelling and spending time in the Adirondacks with family and friends. He had a great sense of adventure and an even greater sense of humor.Visiting will be take place on Wednesday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the Hannemann Funeral Home, Inc. in Nyack. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10 AM at St. Ann's RC Church. In lieu of flowers donations to Regis HS or St Ann's Church in Nyack are welcome.
