Walk to the Beat Workshop Series: Square and Country Line Dancing in January!

Walk to the Beat is proud to present Square and Country Line Dancing with Pat Cannon on January 25th at American Legion Hall in Nyack (85 Piermont Ave.) from 2-4pm. Pat Cannon is the founder and director of Foot and Fiddle Dance Company and will be leading the class with a minimum of confusion and a maximum of fun! Open to all ages. What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon with the family than Square Dancing!

Walk to the Beat is committed to bringing live, world percussive music and dance to the community. Through collaborations with local business and arts organizations Walk to the Beat curates community workshops, school presentations and residencies, ongoing classes, and an annual festival. The two directors, both internationally renowned performers, want to bring the excitement of participation, the freedom of improvisation and the enrichment of diversity to the public. The goal is to have the artists and public alike speaking the universal language of percussion.
