WEATHER UPDATE: Hour-by-Hour Overnight Snow Forecast

The National Weather Service has two alerts for Rockland and northern Westchester:

• Winter Weather Advisory in effect from March 4, 07:00 PM EST until March 5, 07:00 PM EST
• Hazardous Weather Outlook is in effect

We could get 2-4 inches of snow—dodging a bullet, really, because we’re north of the storm this time. Still, it should make for a messy morning commute.

The hour-to-hour forecast:

7-11PM: occasional showers, temperature dropping from 39 to 35 degrees

MIDNIGHT: snow starts, 36 degrees

1-5AM: snow, temperatures down to 27

6-7AM: light snow, 22 degrees

8-10AM: snow showers

11AM-1PM: light snow showers

2-4PM: snow showers, 23 degrees

MIDNIGHT: 13 degrees and clear

6AM: 7 degrees and clear
