In the 70s on Saturday in Piermont and Nyack but it won't last

Seasonable weather, that’s what’s in store, including the inevitable April showers and the temperature swings from chilly to steamy.
“Things improve as Friday wears on… things will dry out, and a few peeks of afternoon sun are possible,” says Bill Potter at Hudson Valley Weather. “ But the REAL winner is going to be Saturday… where the only question is, just how warm does it get.”
But don’t pack away the long-sleeves and fleece just yet, says AccuWeather.com.

According to Paul Pastelok, AccuWeather.com chief long-range meteorologist, “For weeks we have been forecasting another spell of chilly weather for the Northeast and much of the Midwest during the latter part of April.”

Here’s the National Weather Service’s forecast for Rockland County:
- Tonight-Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers after midnight. Lows in the upper 40s. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.
- Friday-Showers likely. Highs in the mid 60s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent.
- Friday Night-Mostly clear. Lows in the mid 40s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.
- Saturday-Sunny and breezy. Highs in the lower 70s. Northwest winds 15 to 20 mph. Gusts up to 25 mph...increasing to 35 mph in the afternoon.
- Saturday Night-Mostly clear and breezy. Lows in the lower 40s.
- Sunday-Partly sunny. Highs in the upper 50s.
- Sunday Night-Mostly cloudy. A chance of rain after midnight. Lows in the mid 40s. Chance of rain 40 percent.
- Monday-Rain likely. Highs in the mid 50s. Chance of rain 60 percent.
