What Inspires Local Artists?

16 Artists Discuss Their Inspirations on Friday, May 3

Rivertown Film is bringing its very popular “Inspired” series back to the Nyack Center for the 5th time on Friday, May 3rd. Ever wonder what motivates people to create? “Inspired” does a great job of answering that question, as sixteen presenters from various disciplines describe their process via the use of ten slides at twenty seconds per slide.

This rapid-fire presentation is mesmerizing – and sheds light on what is often thought to be a mysterious route to creating. The eclectic line up for the evening is:

There will be an opportunity to mingle with the presenters before and after the event. Included in the night are light bites and desserts courtesy of Didier Dumas, Stop & Shop, BJ’s, Lulu’s/West Nyack, Anna’s Bakery/Congers, Carousel Cakes, Chef Collective/NY-Brooklyn, Boxer Donuts, and Wegmans. Beverages are courtesy of Susan Pagan, SQB Bookkeeping.

The program begins at 8pm at the Nyack Center. Doors open at 7:30pm. Tickets are $25/ Rivertown Film Members and $30/Non-members. Tickets can be purchased online at rivertownfilm.org and at www.brownpapertickets, or by calling (800) 838-3006, or at the door.
