Winning Lotto Ticket Sold in West Haverstraw
Worth $113,101 -- it's been more than 8 months since someone hit the jackpot, so Saturday's pot is the biggest since May 2009.

The New York Lottery today announced a winning second prize ticket for the August 26 Lotto drawing was sold at Stop & Shop at 7 Samaondale Plaza, Route 9 in West Haverstraw.
The ticket is worth $113,101.
In addition to that prize for the Lotto drawing, there were a total of 21,094 Lotto winners across all prize levels other than the top prize.

It has been more than eight months since someone has hit the Lotto jackpot prize. With no top prize winner for Wednesday night’s drawing, the jackpot for the next drawing on Saturday, August 29 is now $35.5 million. This is the largest Lotto jackpot since May 16, 2009’s $41 million jackpot.
The winners may claim the tickets at any one of the Lottery’s Customer Service Centers statewide, including the Empire City Casino at Yonkers Raceway at 810 Yonkers Avenue in Yonkers, NY 10704, or at one of the Lottery’s Customer Service Centers statewide, including the Lottery’s Fishkill office at 18 Westage Business Center, Hudson Valley Towne Center, Suite 6, Fishkill, NY 12524.
