WRCR AM 1700 adds Two Talk Shows to Morning and Afternoon Lineup

Established syndicated programs give lower Hudson Valley, Northern NJ and NYC listeners more talk choices; WRCR also joins ABC News network

Pomona, N.Y., June 23, 2016 – Alexander Broadcasting, Inc., operator of WRCR AM 1700 (www.WRCR.com), is proud to announce the addition of two new talk shows to its morning and afternoon lineup. “The Stephanie Miller Show” and “The Thom Hartmann Program” will both get their WRCR AM 1700 launch on June 27th. Stephanie’s show will air live 10AM-12 noon and 3PM-4PM weekdays, while Thom’s show will air live, 12 noon-3PM weekdays on WRCR. The station has also joined the ABC News network.

National television and talk radio star Stephanie Miller is a popular performer with a fervently devoted audience. Morning drive radio’s “The Stephanie Miller Show” is heard nationally, reaching more than three million-plus listeners weekly. She is ranked #28 on influential industry publication Talkers magazine’s 2016 “Heavy Hundred” list of the most important radio hoists in the nation.

Thom Hartmann’s is the host of the national and internationally syndicated progressive radio talk show, “The Thom Hartmann Program” (www.ThomHartmann.com), which is listened to more than any other progressive talk show in the country. Thom ranked ninth on Talkers magazine’s 2016 “Heavy Hundred” list. He's the New York Times best-selling, four-time “Project Censored” award-winning author of 24 books in print in 17 languages on five continents.

The top of every hour on WRCR will feature national and international news from the ABC News Radio network, America’s largest commercial radio news network. In addition to top-of-the-hour global news coverage, ABC News Radio network will provide WRCR listeners crisis and live event coverage, as well.

The new, more powerful WRCR AM 1700 launched in July 2015.
