Yard House at Palisades Center Holds Ribbon Cutting

The mall's newest restaurant will officially open its doors Sunday

The Palisades Mall’s newest restaurant, Yard House, played host to a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday to honor the opening of its 40th location. Along with the ribbon cutting, local officials were on hand to take part in honoring the 9-1-1- For Kids program. One individual honored was dispatcher Beverly Brooks, of the Clarkstown Police Department, who had fallen into the pool. The boy’s 7-year-old sister made the 9-1-1 call, and Brooks talked her through the situation, helping the girl tell her mother what to do.

The West Nyack location is the second Yard House in New York, with the other located in Yonkers. The restaurant opens officially on Sunday at 11 a.m., offering lunch, dinner and late-night dining, to go along with a wide selection of craft, important and speciality ales and lagers. The West Nyack location seats more than 400 people.
