"The Grapes of Wrath" At Maryknoll Film Festival
John Ford film featured October 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the Maryknoll Mission Center.

The Grapes of Wrath will be the featured film for October in the 2014-2015 International Film Festival sponsored by the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers. It will be shown Friday, October 17, 7:30 p.m., at the Maryknoll Mission Center, 55 Ryder Road in Ossining. All are welcome and admission is free.
The Grapes of Wrath is a 1940 U.S. film from director John Ford. The film is about a poor Midwest family forced from the land. The family travels to California, suffering the misfortunes of the homeless during the Great Depression.
The film festival provides nine monthly offerings on Friday evenings from September to April. The current series, Life through Death: In Black and White, includes an introduction by a Maryknoll missioner and a brief discussion after the screening.
