2-Way Spring Street: What Do You Think?

The law removes the one-way portion of Spring Street from the Schedule of One-Way Streets and permits two-way traffic. The law makes permanent the removal of some parking spaces along a portion of Spring Street (both sides) in the vicinity of the Main Street intersection to accommodate turning east and west onto Main Street from Spring Street. The law proposes a loading zone on Maple Street to avoid box truck loading and unloading along Spring Street. The law proposes a reduced speed from 30 mph (the standard throughout the Village) to 25 mph on that portion of Spring Street from Broad to Main.
