20-Degree Temperature Drop: Hudson Valley Weekend Forecast
The front coming through could bring isolated thunderstorms first, but Fathers Day and Juneteenth is expected to be sunny as well as cool.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Isolated thunderstorms are possible in the Hudson Valley Friday afternoon as a front blows through bringing much lower temperatures.
The Fathers Day and Juneteenth weekend will start off feeling more like May, with highs down in the upper 60s in the lower Hudson Valley. Temperatures will stay cool through the weekend, which is expected to be sunny.
"The high temperature in Albany, New York, will struggle to reach 60 F Saturday; this is about 20 degrees below the typical high temperature in mid-June," said Ryan Adamson, AccuWeather meteorologist. "Temperatures will be slightly higher on Juneteenth but will remain 10 to 15 F below normal."
