5 Running For 2 Seats On Ossining Board Of Education

You can meet the candidates at 7 p.m. Monday at Ossining High School. Board and budget votes for the district and library are May 17.

OSSINING, NY — School board and library board elections and budget votes are May 17.

Five people are running for two seats on the Ossining Board of Education.

Maureen Boozang-Hill, Christine Mangiamele, Robert Melstein and Aidan Venuto are on the ballot, as is Melissa Banta, seeking a second term. Trustee Aaron Spring is not running for re-election.

Anyone who is uncomfortable voting in person due to the COVID-19 pandemic may request an absentee ballot application. When completing the form, you must check the box that says, "temporary illness or physical disability."

Completed ballots must be received by the District Clerk no later than 5 p.m. on May 17.
