5 Things You Need To Know: Ossining Village Fair Saturday
Music, food, fun, vendors, neighbors, strawberries -- it's all there at the fair.

OSSINING, NY — The Ossining Village Fair is Saturday, and you shouldn't miss it. It's the 38th annual festival celebrating all things Ossining.
It always draws several thousand people with more than 200 vendors and a variety of live talent presented on several stages. It's sponsored by the Greater Ossining Chamber of Commerce.

- Temperatures will be great for June, with a high of 73 degrees. It'll be overcast with a chance of showers, but that never stops anyone.
- There's always plenty to for the kids to do, plenty to eat and plenty of neighbors to meet and greet. Make sure you collect an armful of giveaways from all the local nonprofits and companies, too.
- When you get to the top of Main Street, cross Highland Avenue to Trinity Church's courtyard. It's the annual Strawberry Festival. Shade and strawberries, what could be better!
- The food truck area and the beer&wine garden will return after their success last year.
- Parking can be a challenge, but everyone finds a place. Seriously consider the train station, where spaces abound on weekends. It'll be downhill on the way back to the car!
