700 Customers Remain Without Power In The Hudson Valley

Gusty winds continue to accompany utility crews out to remove tree limbs and restore power lines in the wake of the powerful mid-week storm.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — With the winds still gusty and the temperature dropping, utility companies are still working to restore power to the customers still without power. Almost 20,000 customers lost power during the powerful storm.

As of 10 a.m.:

  • Consolidated Edison has 325 customers without power in Westchester County.
  • Central Hudson is coping with 217 outages, most in Putnam County.
  • O&R still has 99 outages to repair in Rockland and Orange counties.
  • NYSEG has 90 in Dutchess, Putnam and Westchester.

Most power is expected to be restored today.
