Another Nor'easter May Affect The Hudson Valley Next Week

Yet another nor'easter is taking aim at the Hudson Valley, potentially hitting with snow and rain for the third time in less than two weeks, forecasters say. The next winter wallop could arrive Sunday night and stretch into Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

This far out, meteorologists say it's unclear how significant the storm's impact could be.

"A track straight out to sea would mean no heavy precipitation for much of the Northeast, while a northward track that hugs the coast might mean another nor'easter with strong winds and heavy rain and/or snow," said AccuWeather forecaster Alex Sosnowski. "People on the coast and with travel interests in the Northeast should monitor the progress of the potential storm."

Here's the updated forecast for northern Westchester:

• Tonight-Mostly cloudy with isolated snow showers. Lows in the lower 20s. West winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 20 percent.
• Friday-Cloudy with scattered snow showers. Highs in the upper 30s. West winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 30 percent.
• Friday Night-Mostly cloudy in the evening, then becoming partly cloudy. Lows in the upper 20s. West winds around 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.
• Saturday-Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 40s. West winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
• Saturday Night-Partly cloudy in the evening, then becoming mostly clear. Lows in the mid 20s.
• Sunday-Sunny. Highs in the lower 40s.
• Sunday Night-Mostly cloudy. Lows in the upper 20s.
• Monday-Mostly cloudy. A chance of snow in the morning, then a chance of rain in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 30s. Chance of precipitation 40 percent.
• Monday Night-A chance of rain in the evening. Mostly cloudy with a chance of snow. Lows in the upper 20s. Chance of precipitation 30 percent.
