SATURDAY, SEPT. 9

Morning Farm Chores – 8 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

A hands-on farm experience for children ages 8 and older. Registration and fees required.

Volunteer Work Project – 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Bring work gloves and help spruce up the hiking trails. Good for any type of volunteer service credit. Work tools provided.

Legends and Lore of the Little People – 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Storyteller Jonathan Kruk tells tales of leprechaun lairs, elfin dens, faerie eyries and more during a walk through the preserve.

Bring binoculars to identify and learn about our feathered friends that are on the move.

Bicycle Sunday – 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Open to all bicyclists, joggers, walkers and those with strollers. Runs from the Westchester County Center in White Plains to Scarsdale Road, Yonkers. Also 9/17 and 9/ 24.
