Borgia Accuses Foe Unfairly Of Bigotry: Fair Practices Committee
There's no proof a mailer accusing her of letting brown people in to rape white girls existed or was sent, as she described in a speech.
OSSINING, NY — Catherine Borgia made a false claim about her opponent Robert Outhouse, according to the Westchester County Fair Campaign Practices Committee. She told a forum of supporters that a mailing filled with bigoted accusations against her was sent out by the campaign for Robert Outhouse.
Her July 10 speech was captured in a You Tube video.
The Fair Campaign Practices Committee met on Oct. 2 to hear Outhouse's complaint. Outhouse was represented by Joseph Marchese. Borgia was represented by TJ Rogers.

COMPLAINT: Robert Outhouse complains that Catherine Borgia defamed his character and
incited "fear mongering" in her speech at the July 10th Indivisible Westchester Forum, which was recorded and published as a YouTube video titled BOL Forum 7/10/19. In the video Ms. Borgia makes reference to Mr. Outhouse and the contents of a defamatory mailer she said was sent out against her.
FINDING: UNFAIR
Contrary to candidate Borgia’s statements, there was no proof that any such mailer ever
existed or was ever sent. Ms. Borgia’s comments are in violation of one of the Committee's
principles: “The Candidate will neither engage in nor be involved with false or misleading
attacks upon the character of an opponent....”
In the YouTube video, Borgia told the group that Outhouse had accused her in a campaign mailer of wanting to let "brown people in to rape our white daughters in Westchester, our white blonde daughters."
Describing the opposition, she said later in her speech, "they know how to tickle that fear."
