Bronx Woman Accused of Bringing Booze into Sing Sing

On Nov. 7, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Hawthorne Barracks arrested Evelyn Reyes, 38, of the Bronx, for Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Troopers were dispatched to Sing Sing Correctional Facility to assist the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision with a subject in custody for unlawfully entering the facility with alcohol.

Reyes was issued an Appearance Ticket ordering her to appear before the Town of Ossining Court on Nov. 18.

The State Police were assisted by the NYS DOCCS Office of Special Investigations.
