During the Revolutionary War, Lt. Lemuel Snow spent most of his time in the Hudson River Valley. Through letters, Snow documented his experiences that included: witnessing the execution of Major Andre, greeting Rochambeau with his regiment at Verplanck’s Point, and with Washington for the Evacuation of New York at War’s end.

Presented by Kirk Moldoff, a medical illustrator and animator with a passion for industrial archaeology, local history, and cast iron stoves. Kirk has been researching local history for over three decades and has lectured extensively on the rich history of this area.
