Chances of Snow In Hudson Valley's Work Week

Here are the latest details on early April's mood swings.

Snow, rain and wind are on the work week weather agenda in the Hudson Valley. Plus, it won't feel like spring: High temperatures will get into the 50s in the daytime but drop into the 20s at night.

For Orange, Putnam, Rockland and northern Westchester counties, there are chances for snow showers Tuesday and Friday.

"If we dodge these 2 near-miss events this week… that’s a wrap on winter for another 6 to 8 months," said Alex Marra and Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.

There's even a nor'easter coming. Its most dangerous conditions are likely to be over the nearby Atlantic Ocean, said Alex Sosnowski, AccuWeather senior meteorologist; however, coastal flooding may be a bit worse with this storm, when compared with other storms that remain offshore.

It'll be mostly cloudy Tuesday, with highs in the high 40s; partly sunny Wednesday and Thursdays with highs in the high 50s, and then rainy and in the 40s on Friday.
