Saniya Chong led the Pride by registering a game-high 36 points, which included 16 of 17 shooting from the foul line.

Ossining, as it has done all year, showed that while Chong is its star everyone talks about and rightfully so, it proved that it has plenty of talent in addition to Chong as four other players recorded double-digits in points.

They were Destini Walker (17 points), Kathryn Polletta (16), Jalay Knowles (11), and Alexandra Cristello (10).

Being able to combine the talents of a superstar like Chong with other talented players makes Ossining a serious threat to take home the Class AA state crown.

Boys basketball

Croton-Harmon traveled to Briarcliff to take on the Bears in boys basketball Feb. 7 looking to sweep the season series.

The Bears though had other ideas as they defeated the Tigers 77-56.

Brian Daniels continued his strong season for the Bears by scoring a game-high 24 points, including 11 in the final quarter.

Wes Turner led the Tigers with 18 points.
