County, Village Officials to Join with GDC at Grand Opening of Harbor Square

A new public park named in honor of Henry Gourdine will be dedicated.

Martin Ginsburg, principal of Ginsburg Development Companies (GDC) and developer of Harbor Square; County Executive Robert Astorino; Ossining Village Mayor Victoria Gearity and other dignitaries and officials are expected to gather on the Ossining waterfront Thursday to celebrate the grand opening of Harbor Square.

Harbor Square is a new $65 million, mixed-use luxury rental complex on the Ossining waterfront featuring 188 rental apartments, world-class amenities and spectacular views of the Hudson.

The 11 a.m. ribbon-cutting celebration will also include the formal dedication of a new public park at Harbor Square named in honor of Henry Gourdine, a legendary local fisherman who spent most of his 94 years harvesting the Hudson and had a legendary fishing shack at the site.
