Croton DPW Workers End Up In River After Boat Capsizes
Two of the village workers managed to get back to shore on their own.
CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY — A village employee was rescued and two others made it to shore Tuesday after their boat overturned in the Croton River. The Department of Public Works employees were working on the water performing routine maintenance on the river.
Shortly after 9 a.m. their boat capsized, leaving one of the workers stranded, the Journal News said.
First responders pulled that man to shore on a raft.
