Croton-Harmon Fourth-Graders Thank Veterans

Students brainstormed patriotic words to include in notes to local heroes.

Carrie E. Tompkins Elementary School fourth-graders penned letters to veterans in honor of Veterans Day.

Students brainstormed words to use including “peace” and “bravery” in their thank you to Croton-on-Hudson veterans and discussed the tone of their notes.

The students then gathered in the computer lab to type their personal letters, which included patriotic images.
