Croton-On-Hudson Reminder: Signage Not Permitted In Village Rights-Of-Way
Notices and advertisements including campaign signs may not be placed on poles or the grass strip between a sidewalk and roadway.

The Village Board adopted Local Law 3 of 2020 on February 3, 2020, which prohibits the posting, scattering, placing and tossing of notices and advertisements in the Village’s rights-of-way. This includes telephone and street light poles, as well as the grass strip between the sidewalk and the roadway.
Signage can be placed on your front lawn provided it complies with the Village’s Zoning Code. If you have any questions regarding the above, please contact the Engineering Department at 914-271-4783.
