Deli Owner Convicted Of Restraining, Abusing Employee At Her Home
He is scheduled to be sentenced on June 23.

OSSINING, NY — The owner of Villarina's Village Deli has been found guilty of sex abuse of an employee.
Westchester County District Attorney Miriam E. Rocah announced the jury's verdict Friday after a two-week trial.
Patrick Patierno, 54, of Yorktown, was found guilty on Monday of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, a felony, and Unlawful Imprisonment in the Second Degree, a misdemeanor.

Prosecutors said Patierno entered the home of the victim, who was one of his employees, at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 14, 2021, restrained her and forcibly subjected her to sexual contact. Ossining police investigated and arrested him the next day.
The case before Judge Barry Warhit in Westchester County Court is being prosecuted by Sex Crimes Bureau Chief Wendy Parra and Assistant District Attorney Marissa Morra-Wynn.

Patierno is scheduled to be sentenced on June 23. He faces a sentence range of a minimum of 10 years of Sex Offender probation to a maximum of seven years in state prison. He will also be required to register as a sex offender, Rocah said.
