Check out the traffic and parking tips from the Ossining Police Department, imparted with characteristic sang-froid on Facebook:

- There is no parking on Main Street from South Highland Avenue to State Street and on Spring Street from St. Paul’s Place to Main Street all day tomorrow. (Pro tip: Sometimes parking a little further away will help you avoid traffic when you leave)

- Main Street and Spring Street will be closed... because it would be weird if cars were driving through a street fair.

- You may notice minor delays on South Highland Avenue while people rubberneck and wonder why they aren’t having as much fun as us. Our best advice is to find the nearest parking spot, get out of your car, and join the excitement.

- There will be games and music and food and all sorts of entertainment.

- The high temperature will be 84 degrees. Stay hydrated and don’t forget sunblock!

- Most important, look for us in Market Square at the “Dunk-a-Cop” booth. We’ve got all your favorite officers lined up and ready!
