Author Dorothy Wickenden, a Westchester resident, will discuss her book “Nothing Daunted” in the Budarz Theater. Dorothy has been the executive editor of The New Yorker since 1996 and also is the moderator of its weekly podcast “The Political Scene.” She is on the faculty of The Writers’ Institute at CUNY’s Graduate Center, where she teaches a course on narrative nonfiction. “Wickenden is a very good storyteller, and bracingly unsentimental. The sweep of the land and the stoicism of the people move her to some beautiful writing,” said Joan Acocella, of Newsweek about her writing. “Nothing Daunted” will be available after the discussion for purchase and signing.
