Guy Davis is a musician, composer, actor, director, and writer. But most importantly, he is a bluesman. The blues permeates every corner of Davis' creativity. Throughout his career, he has dedicated himself to reviving the traditions of acoustic blues and bringing them to as many ears as possible through the material of the great blues masters, African American stories, and his own original songs, stories and performance pieces. Davis, the son of actorswriters Ruby Dee and the late Ossie Davis, has recorded nine studio albums on Red House records and appeared as a guest artist on numerous albums, videos, films and television shows.
Nik Rael is a soul singer, songwriter, and recording artist whose most recent album, Winter ’61, has received national airplay and universal acclaim for its powerful vocal interpretations of eleven Bob Dylan compositions. Working with Van Morrison guitarist and Grammy-nominated producer John Platania, Nik has released two solo albums of original songs, Worlds Fade Away and Thank You. Nik also shares his passion for music in his role as the Director of the School of Rock in Tenafly, NJ, a performance-based music school for children with rock music as its core focus.
